Our Mission: We are an inclusive faith community guided by the teachings and example of Jesus Christ. Through ministry, prayer, and service, we strive to serve and support the humanitarian and spiritual needs of our communities.
Our Statement of Faith, Identity and Inclusion follows from our mission statement and extends our commitment to welcome and inclusion to all people.
Our Values: We believe “God is Still Speaking” and that we are called to be people of “Open Hearts, Open Minds, and Open Doors.” We cannot be the Church that Christ calls us to be if we exclude any from our life and ministry, or if we ignore or belittle the dignity and the needs of any. All are welcome and cherished as part of the family of God and the community of all people. We offer hospitality, service, and aid without exception.
This church is a congregation of believers bound together by a covenant rather than a creed. We encourage unity without uniformity. We count among our membership persons who have been raised in other traditions such as Presbyterian, Baptist, Episcopal, Lutheran, and Roman Catholic. This diversity in our backgrounds enriches our perspective.
